Maybe the holiday didnt turned out as i hope it would be. Apparently, nothing much to do in Miri after a week. Only two to three times hanging out with P and M around town, we're bored already. This is bad. Haha. We've been away from home to a much entertainment-loaded place that Miri become somewhat, dull. BUT, i will always love the beach here. Can't live without going to the beach at least once a fortnight.
Even the Terengganu Showcase failed to attract tourists from Brunei. I only get to go and tengok-tengok on the very last day of the showcase. Nothing much left to see though. Mom bought minyak urut that they claim to be panas. We tried the sample, and it truly is panas. But when we come home and mama asks me to massage her, alamak, tak panas langsung. I think better sapu minyak cap kapak, lagi panas. The RM10 should go to a better place - buying fresh fish from the market.
These two days is a bummer. Another "bump on the road". And to top all that, I found out three of my coursemates were chosen to go to Perth (yes, PERTH, AUSTRALIA) to gain some exposure on internship with overseas companies. I wish i'm the one chosen to go. I've never been anywhere but Borneo and Peninsular Malaysia. Its a dream come true if i get to travel abroad. And internship with overseas company? Oh dear, once in a lifetime chance. Even if its just for an early exposure. I envy them. Maybe i hadn't study hard enough to deserve such an honour. Whatever it is, im happy for them. I hope to see them soon so that they can share with me their experience being abroad. sigh.
