up,up and more haze!

ah yes, the headline on today's newspaper. decrease in air quality throughout sarawak. the air quality index shows a reading of 115 which is unhealthy. what sickens me is that the parties responsible to actually work the solutions for these are busy "arranging another meeting to further discuss these issues,".

oh.my.god. how can you find a time to "arrange" another girly-girly sleepover when its so unhealthy to go out and about? why cant you just actually sit down and order more people to go up there and actually seed those puffy clouds for more rain to clear the haze?

and another oh. my. god for using another MYR20k just to build an "observatory tower" to monitor the conditions. why in the world would you need to MYR20k of observatory tower to tell you its hazy out there. an ant in the grounds can tell you for free! do something about it dammit!

and people burning bushes for crops ain't helping either. people please, its dry spell right now, with the extra smoke in the air wont help your plants grow healthier. why you lazy bums wont just clear the bushes manually using parangs or sabits or cangkuls or whatever tools you have in hand instead of taking the easy way out by burning it. i was cruising in Bandar Baru Permyjaya just now only to find its hazy there and a few hotspots just beside the road. i went off the road into another taman perumahan and pusing-pusing tengok rumah cantik (this is my current hobby) for about another 15minutes. when i exited to the highway, i saw a fire engine passed by and slowed down to the roadside to give way. it would be a bit tough to tone down the fire because i understand that most of the soil here are of peat soil. even if you cleared the surface, its still burning hot down there.

one other thing that made me swear out loud, drivers who dont use their signals!! god dammit, please use them! why invent a signal when you DONT USE THEM? astaga~~

oh yea, just for the fun of it and for the sake of Azfar's plight, i will tell you what actually happened in Chilli's last saturday.

Syamim had the bookings for 5 but we had to wait another painful 40minutes to be seated. i grabbed myself a new sequined pumps from Vincci. ahem. impulse buys. sigh. i know. not healthy. ah well, when we got back to Chilli's, syamim asked for a smoking seat because, i dont have to explain myself here. the lady behind the counter look at each one of us and said "may i please look at your ICs,". so when we took it out, thats when she said,"oh, bukan semua. adik ni saja. (while pointing at me),"
